World AIDS Day 2015

On December 1, we’ll mark the 27th World AIDS Day — a time to show support for people living with HIV across the globe and honor the 39 million souls we’ve lost since the first cases were reported over three decades ago.

This annual day of remembrance provides an opportunity to create conversation about HIV prevention and care, while bringing much-needed awareness to this still deadly epidemic. World AIDS Day also reminds us of the incredible progress we’ve made in the search for a cure.

At amfAR we’ve never been more optimistic about HIV/AIDS research. Through our Countdown to a Cure for AIDS initiative — which represents the largest expansion of grant-making in amfAR’s 30-year history — we’re mounting an all-out effort to find a cure and eventually bring an end to HIV/AIDS.

This World AIDS Day, I invite you to join amfAR as we show the world — and all those affected by HIV/AIDS — that a cure is finally within sight.
BE EPIC. CURE AIDS.
Click here to access amfAR’s World AIDS Day social media toolkit to find simple ways to show your support online.

If you have a Facebook or Twitter account, then it’s easy to participate! In the toolkit, you’ll find a custom profile image, along with sharable graphics featuring our Countdown tagline: “Be Epic. Cure AIDS.”

By showing your support today, you’ll stand in solidarity with the 37 million people living with AIDS worldwide, honor the millions more we’ve lost, and push forward toward a cure for all.

Gratefully,
Kevin Robert Frost

RAY STREET CUSTOM FRAMING
Meet the artist TOMORROW Saturday September 12 from 6 to 9pm
IGOR KOUTSENKO
RSVP on Facebook
Hi Friend,

I can honestly say that I have never been so excited about a coffee sleeve. You have to come down to the frame shop & gallery and see what our next featured artist has created with these everyday objects.

Igor Koutsenko will be joining us in‑person tomorrow, Saturday September 12 from 6‑9pm for our monthly Ray at Night art walk and the opening of his show — which includes paintings, drawings, and printmaking along with these caffeine-cradling wonders.*

Meeting an artist face‑to‑face and being able to talk to him about his work in an intimate setting like our frame shop & gallery is just such a special opportunity — one I’m really proud to be able to offer our customers. At Ray Street Custom Framing, we aim to bring you local artists who also share our belief that owning an original artwork should be within the reach of any budget.

Read more about Igor here, and I hope to see you on Saturday!

Stay Cool,
Michelle Robinson, Owner
Ray Street Custom Framing
* Note: It is not recommended that you actually use one of Igor’s coffee sleeves, or any other original artwork purchase, to store hot liquids. Sleeves are sold already framed.

Ellen designed this email, wrote the copy, and built it using her own custom templates in MailChimp. The artist's name "IGOR KOUTSENKO" is written in a font that resembles existing woodcut fonts, but is a custom version handdrawn by Ellen. This email is just one of many in a series of Ray Street Custom Framing art show event announcements.
